A little about the Collegiate Parents’ Association

The Collegiate Parents’ Association (CPA) provides a forum where issues relating to the School can be discussed. The CPA provides an important link between parents & the School. We also welcome and support new parents; provide a forum for consultation on special issues; and actively promote Collegiate to the wider community.
Families automatically become members of the Association when they join the School community and are encouraged to participate in the life of the school.

The CPA is supported by the Director of Development and her Assistant.

The CPA meets on the first Monday of each month in term time, at 7.30pm in Cananore (97 Davey St). Any changes are advised via Ancanthe, the weekly newsletter.

The CPA actively strives to support the School community through both year group and whole school functions which are advertised via flyers, Term Calenders & Ancanthe .
The Year Representatives of the CPA organise lunches, morning teas and other events which are a great way for parents to meet on a casual basis and build friendships. The broader CPA organises major community events per year (Fair in Term 1, and the Christmas Craft and Food Market in Term 3), as well as the annual Mothers’ Night and Father-Daughter Camp. Some of these activities generate valuable funds that are directed back to the School for projects to benefit the girls.
